I enjoy working with all types of patients, especially those suffering from headaches/migraines, auto/workplace injuries and care of soft tissue injuries such as sprains/strains.

I believe the fundamental job of a chiropractor is to help normalize the function of a patient’s spine and body. My job as a chiropractor is to identify regions of the body that are not performing properly, address those regions and help guide you with home care to continue healing after an appointment. I aim to work alongside patients as a partner in their health. I approach patient care with transparency and direct communication.

Patients often remark on my friendliness, humility and general positive attitude. I often say, “I take my work seriously, I just don’t take myself seriously.” I attempt to strike a balance between professionalism and a relaxed, open communication style. I make it my goal for patients to feel very comfortable in my presence. I believe open and clear communication is vital in a doctor patient relationship.

My role as a massage therapist is to mobilize tissue and encourage the flow of fluid which helps the body find balance and have access to its full range of motion. My pressure tends to be medium/firm, except in cases where it needs to be gentle to affect specific change or to meet certain client needs. I love to work through knots, especially in the shoulders and forearm, and I’m a big advocate for abdominal work to help encourage lymphatic return and break up any visceral adhesions that may be causing low back pain. I love working in an integrative care system and providing care to a variety of clients.

Conditions I love to treat:

Neck and shoulder tension Technology-related muscle issues Abdominal work to relieve low back pain Forearm conditions Edema General relaxation massage

Techniques & treatments I use:

Clinical massage (can include trigger point therapy, cross fiber friction, myofascial techniques, passive ROM) Swedish relaxation massage (gliding, kneading, compression, rocking, holding, friction) Manual lymph drainage (gentle soft-tissue mobilization that enhances lymph circulation in the body and helps relieve edema)
